September 12 Through November 16
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze began in 2005 on the grounds of Van Cortlandt Manor and has grown to be one of the Hudson Valley’s signature fall experiences and one of the biggest Halloween events in the country. It’s an immersive display of more than seven thousand jack-o-lanterns, all hand-carved on-site by our small team of artists. Each year brings more visitors, bigger ideas, and brighter displays. With themed installations, synchronized lighting, and a custom soundtrack—Blaze transforms thousands of pumpkins into a one-of-a-kind fall spectacle.
Blaze is produced by Historic Hudson Valley, a nonprofit dedicated to education and preservation. Your visit supports programs that bring history to life—at our historic sites, in classrooms, and through digital experiences.
