Refund Policy

At Hudson Valley Connect, we’re committed to helping local businesses grow through marketing, design, and promotional services. Because much of our work involves time, creativity, and digital delivery, refunds work a little differently than with physical products.

1. Services & Digital Products

  • Non-Refundable Once Started: Payments for services (such as websites, branding, ads, or social media promotions) are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Pre-Payment: Most services require payment upfront before we begin. This helps us reserve time and resources for your project.

  • Cancellations Before Work Begins: If you cancel before we’ve started your project (usually within an hour of payment), we’re happy to refund your payment in full.

2. Event Listings & Social Media Promotions

  • Event and social media promotion fees are non-refundable once your listing or post has been scheduled or published.

  • If your event is canceled, we cannot offer refunds, but we may be able to reschedule or adjust your promotion depending on availability.

3. Recurring Subscriptions

  • Certain services (such as Business Spotlight listings) are billed on a recurring yearly subscription basis.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You will receive an email 15 days before your renewal date.

  • Refunds are not provided for renewal charges, but you may cancel future billing at any time.

3. Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue with a service we provide (such as website hosting setup or ad delivery), please contact us. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue or offer a fair solution.

4. Squarespace Discounts & Free Trials

If you use our Squarespace Circle discounts or free trials, those promotions are managed by Squarespace. We cannot issue refunds or credits for Squarespace fees.

5. Our Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to feel good about working with us. If you’re not satisfied with the direction of your project, please reach out. We’ll make reasonable adjustments to ensure you’re happy with the final result. While we cannot guarantee refunds once work has started, we do promise to work with you to make things right.
